Apple Crisp

Ingredients

  • 8 cups peeled and sliced tart baking apples
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • ½ cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar

Pairs well with french vanilla ice cream

Preheat Oven

350°

Generously Butter

9-inch square (preferably glass) baking pan.

Blend

Brown sugar, rolled oats, flour and melted butter.

Mixture should be the texture of coarse crumbs.

Sprinkle

Streusel topping over apples

Combine

cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl

Sprinkle over streusel

Bake

until apples are soft and juicy, about 35 minutes.
