Gluten-Free Cinnamon Sugar Cookies, a delightful treat that perfectly balances sweetness and warmth. They promise a delightful crunch, a hint of spice, and a melt-in-your-mouth texture—a perfect gluten-free treat for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 c butter, softened
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 c King Arthur Gluten-Free Measure for Measure flour (1:1 substitute)

Preheat oven

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Start dough

Beat butter and sugar in a large bowl until creamy.

Add egg and beat until fluffy.

Stir in flour. baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well blended.

Form dough into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap.

Flatten ball and refrigerate for 2 hour or until firm.

Shape dough

Roll out dough, a small portion at a time, to 1/4″ thickness. Cut out with cookie cutters.

Bake

Bake 7-9 minutes. Let cool on a cookie sheet for a minute then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

Makes about 36 cookies.
